E-commerce is the selling and buying of goods, products and services online, transfering funds or data from one person to another by using electronic network mainly internet.
There are different types of e-commerce such as -
Business to business (B2B) - It refers to the exchange of service, product or informations through internet (electronic exchange) between businesses rather than business to consumer (Ben, 2023).
Business to consumers (B2C) - It is the exact opposite to the B2B e-commerce where a businesses directly sell their products, services or informations to the consumers (Ben, 2023).
Business to government (B2G) - It is a transactions that are carried out between the businesses and the government bodies or the public administration. These services often pertain to legal documents, registers, fiscal data, social security and so on (Ben, 2023).
Consumer to consumers (C2C) - It is a part of e-commerce where a consumer sells their product to another consumer through the means of third party which provides an online platform on which the transactions are carried out (Ben, 2023).
Consumer to business (C2B) - It is a e-commerce where a consumer makes their services and products available to an online platform where companies bid on it, it is the exact opposite of B2C (Ben, 2023).
Consumer to government (C2G) - It is a transactions that are carried out between the consumers and the government bodies or the public administration (Ben, 2023).
Mobile e-commerce - It is basically a transactions done by using mobile phones or computers to buy products online, banking and payment online (Ben, 2023).
